This typewriter has some advice for us...
For several weeks, I did not notice this slogan in gold caps,
arcing across the red seal
on the oldest typewriter I have–a 1924 (25?) Remington Portable.
TO SAVE TIME IS TO LENGTHEN LIFE
I wonder if anyone who owned it noticed their life lengthened? Certainly true in the 1920s, and again in ‘eleven.
