I am a typewriter! Hermes and Remington languish on the shelf at trendy chain Anthropologie’s Philly branch. Bonus barbarian points for gluing books into a fake arch; while burning books still upsets, gluing and chopping still gets a pass! They also stacked the cups too close, so the carriage will hit them.

At least they didn’t chop the keys and glue them to things too. Shame about the book arches. They do look beautiful, but they are at best temporary.. which means the books lives are pretty much at their end now. *Sigh*
You can fit all those books on one Kindle – technology’s not all bad!
Crikey, I’d rather see a bunch of Kindles made into a mini-Stonehenge … I dread the day that I decide to carry one of them around. Yeah, I read a few books on my iPhone, but give me wood pulp and ink, I declaim.
Might not be that much wood pulp to go around. 🙂
