CBS Sunday Morning airs their typing story — and < praise be > left out all the dopey stuff I said! Nice shots of Bill Wahl’s Mesa typewriter mirage, and Ryan “Magic Margins” Adney in action, and the East Coast gets respect with visits to Brady & Kowalksi and heh, the Philadelphia Son of Type-IN. Good shots of typewriters, lots of, er, young people–and the word < nostalgia> seemed to be absent. Hooray.
See it all right here.
Below, Philadelphia Inquirer movie critic (and author of the new book Hollywood Rides a Bike) lights up the keys at the Son of Type-IN….
enjoyed it this morning in living color!
It’s great!
Nice job, “typewriter activist.”
You are now officially famous around the world! That was a nice segment.
“Typewriter Activist”– I don’t even know where to go with that title… maybe will go out and Occupy an Apple Store or a Starbucks, hah!
On the plus side, a number of, er, pronouncements, I made were left out which was merciful in the extreme.
With this burst of TV-induced vim, am resolving to crank our some I.T.A.M. letters packed with nouns, verbs and adjectives.
