Here’s a lovely slob on eBay, advertising a tool to destroy vintage typewriters more easily by tearing off their keys for jewelry.

— not surprisingly, this person seems barely literate, noting in all caps: WITH THIS TOOL THE KEYS COME OFF WITH NO STEM,I HAVE REMOVED 50 KEYS IN LESS THAN TWO MINNUTES,AND THEY ARE READY TO MAKE JEWLERY .100S SOLD I CAN TELL YOU HOW TO GET 20 SETS OF KEYS OFF..” etc.
I have no idea how to deal with such a person, who fails to give any advice on what to do with the rest of the typewriter thus rendered junk. I suppose they could throw it away just like the people who cut off shark fins, then throw the dying fish back in the water.
